Fishing Report: One fish for four opportunities last Saturday, October 21,

FishnSleep Fishing Report

Since we went one fish for four opportunities last Saturday, October 21, 2017, and David Pyle informed me he went one fish for two opportunities yesterday, October 28, 2017,  we decided to fish out of Chinook Landing today, myself, John Coburn and Chris Roe.  We launched about 7:30 a.m. and fished until about 1:00 p.m.  We did not have any action.  Back at the dock, the fish checker informed us that she had checked fifteen boats, and that one coho and one chinook had been caught.  I think it is time to realize that this run is essentially over at this point.

I have heard that the catch and release sturgeon fishing on the Willamette is excellent, as is the trout fishing at Hagg Lake, which is now open all year.  I am thinking Hagg Lake next weekend, time for some fishing variety.
