Netarts Bay: Inaugural new RV trip
First trip with the new RV was just 2 days after taking delivery of our RV. Our friends the Coburn’s joined us for our inaugural trip. Always good to travel with friends but especially helpful for questions regarding set up and break down.
The RV was comfortable and stayed warm with its all season package.
Stayed at Netarts Bay Garden RV Resort. Nice, well kept facility and friendly staff. The only downside is their WiFi was not very good, kept dropping.
Crabbing was slow the 2 days we were there saw a few come in but not very many, weather was nice first half of stay then the typical Oregon coast rain.
Places visited:
Port of Garibaldi nice day for a visit, very quite not many boats / people on the Monday after Easter.
Bay City Fish Peddler for lunch. Good food, casual atmosphere. I have been there before, but still managed to over order/eat. Seafood fresh and tasty. Picked up some fresh oysters and took home for a nice oyster bake.
Tillamook cheese co-op and creamery no trip to Tillamook area is complete without a visit here. They renovated the facility and reopened last summer. Much more efficient to tour, shop, eat and snack with the new design.
Tillamook Country Smoker a favorite stop when in the area and leaving Garibaldi after a long day of fishing to pick up some snacks.
