Salmon Garibaldi Jun 26th
My friend Todd came down Saturday night, and Sunday morning, Todd, Jim and I headed out at 5:00 a.m. in search of coho. We were using Spinfish, size 3.0, same as usual, again to the north, off of Nehalem, and found some good rips, where two or more currents run into each other, and had success fishing the edges of these. I am told that the baitfish get “confused” or pushed around by the currents, and the salmon take advantage of this. We had our six coho fairly early, and returned to the docks about 10:00 a.m.
