July 17th early morning coho

Target: Salmon/bottom fish

Catch: 4 coho/ 2 sea bass and 8 canary.

Fishermen / boat: Glen and Jeff on Glen’s boat

Left dock at 5:30 a.m. , returned to dock 2:00 p.m.

Rigging: Spinfish 3.0 and 4.0 Lemon Head Glo

Conditions: Ocean a little rough, but not bad.

Started fishing about 200’’ off Twin Rocks, 23’ on the line counter. Had several takedowns and released a few natives before landing our four coho. Then decided to go bottom fishing on a reef about a mile out from the north jetty. Got limits of bottom fish, 5 each, but no ling cod.
