Retention of cabezon will be prohibited for all boat-based anglers beginning 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019.
Action: In addition to dates already announced, recreational halibut fishing will be open Thursday, June 6 in Marine Area 2. Recreational halibut fishing will be allowed on six additional fishing days in Marine Areas 5 through 10, those dates are; Thursday, May 30; Saturday June 1; Thursday, June 13; Saturday, June 15; Thursday, June 27; and, Saturday, June 29.

Spring Chinook fishing in the Columbia River has been slow. A few spring Chinook are being caught in the Willamette River.
Trout fishing continues to be good in local lakes.
Steelheading in the Columbia and area tributaries is slow.
Fishing for warm water species is slow, although walleye fishing is improving.
Low projections for Chinook returns to Columbia are reducing harvest figures.
