Got to the boat ramp around 5:30 a.m. and headed out into the Multnomah Channel. This is springer fishing, the action is slower than salmon fishing in the ocean.

At long last, the turbidity in the Willamette came down to a fishable level Sunday. I am sure some people were very entertained at the sight of me reeling up my second rod, getting it out of the way, and trying to net the fish by myself.
